Adam DiTroia

Bio

Adam DiTroia comes from a very musical family. His father, Sal DiTroia, played session guitar with artists like Billy Joel, Barbara Streisand, Neil Diamond, The Monkees, and many others. Adam began playing piano at a very young age. He later picked up the guitar as a teenager. Adam first became interested in a composing career around the age of eighteen. He started off creating the music and sound effects for online Flash games and local commercials. He went on from there to score his first commercial PC title “Taxi 3: eXtreme Rush”. Since then, Adam has created the music and sound design for many video games, television commercials, mobile projects, websites, and short films.

Adam’s music has also been licensed by companies such as KFC, MTV, The History Channel, The Travel Channel, Spike Tv, PGA Tour, and many more. He has also been profiled in several industry books and magazines including “The Complete Guide To Game Audio” 2nd edition. Adam has created demo songs and custom sounds for companies such as Cakewalk and Camel Audio. His music has also been included in twenty-four compilation CD’s available on I Tunes and similar sites.

Adam is equally passionate about composing music and creating sound design and he continually strives to improve at both. He lives  in the northeast of the US with his wife and two sons.
